The third annual Billion Bricks exhibition at the Stamford Museum & Nature Center is coming soon. The display will be open November 23, 2015 through February 7, 2016. The display will feature assorted LEGO Star Wars sets ranging from 1999 to today, over 600 different Star Wars minifigures, droids, and creatures, LEGO Star Wars artwork, and a large collaborative build by I LUG NY featuring city, space, deep sea, and other themed areas.
Select weekends will also have workshops. See below.
Saturday, January 9: Space Race, Two sessions: 10 am – noon & 2 – 4 pm
Build and race a LEGO brick spaceship or car. Recommended for ages 6 and up.
Sunday January 10: Rebel Alliance Battle, Two sessions: 10 am – noon & 2 – 4 pm
Build and fly a LEGO X-Wing fighter or your own design spaceship. Recommended for ages 6 and up.
Saturday, January 23: Lights! Camera! Action!, Two sessions: 10 am – noon & 2 – 4 pm
Sunday, January 24: Lights! Camera! Action!, Two sessions: 10 am – noon & 2 – 4 pm
LEGO animation with I LUG NY facilitators. Led by Alex Kobbs, of KooberzStudios, learn and film stop-action animation with LEGO creations and mini figures. Recommended for ages 10 and up.
