I LUG NY meeting @ Stamford Museum, November 5th

Update:

I’ve finally gotten around to making this time lapse video of us setting up on Saturday.  Next time I’ll need to bring an external power supply for for the camera so it doesn’t turn off in the middle…

We’ll be meeting November 5th at 12:00 noon at the Stamford Museum & Nature Center (see details below).

Bring any and all MOC’s.
There will loads of work (fun) LEGO build etc. for all participants. I will have materials (LEGO) for building.
Depending on what Bill gets done prior there may be lots of train track to lay as well as the monorail and loads of baseplate.
When entering the gate just let the attendant know you are part of the “LEGO, Bill Probert” event and you should slide right by.

We will meet in the mansion up on the hill on the right as you drive in. You can either park on your left and walk up or drive all the way around and park behind the mansion (limited parking… about 8 spots).

  1. Looking forward to this! Can’t wait to see what this display will look like. I have to wrap my modulate in bubble wrap so they are ready for transport to CT.

    Who is coming?

Victor Ty- did you get in touch with Bill to let him know when you are available to help with the set up of the display?

  2. I’ll be there. We need to figure out the carpooling situation, and when I should leave my house.

I also have a couple official LEGO sets I can bring – Pet Shop, Hillside House and the Log Cabin. Lastly, I can’t forget to bring my camera!

  3. I would like to publicly thank all those in attendance yesterday. We made some serious progress.

    Thank You…

Remember, I will be working all week, most likely 9 to 9 except for the opening on Friday. Please try and make it Friday for the “opening gala”

  4. Nice work Will on the Time Lapse. Too bad we couldn’t have the camera there the whole entire time it took to set the display up. So much work went in to this by the group and especially Bill. I had such a great time helping out on the 5th and the 12th. It felt like Sim City and I was the mayor setting up the town. What a fun day.

Agreed Mike, the set Bill gave us is awesome! Thanks Bill!
