I LUG NY Member Johnathan G. has decided to put his wonderful Courthouse on Cuusoo!
After Today’s meeting, we installed (mostly) Rick’s beautiful Dino Diorama at the Elmhurst LEGO store in the Queens Center Mall. This is another model jam-packed with little dino-details. The car on the left is a wonderful rendering of the automated tour car from Jurassic Park – including screaming passenger.
If you get a chance, go check it out. It’s a wonderful model, and the pictures don’t really do it justice.
I know some of us plan on trading Series 6 CMFs in Saturday. The more the merrier so let us help each other out by bringing want lists and doubles to the meeting this Saturday. See you there!
LUGBULK is closing this weekend! Make sure you fill in the order sheet!
We’ve opened up the second phase of LUGBULK.
If you haven’t gotten an email about it, and believe you should have, contact me or drop me a line in a comment. This round of LUGBULK ordering needs to be done by the end of the day on the 12th, so get cracking.
ILUGNY member Brett does something that most of us wish we could do: He teaches LEGO building classes. Here’s some pictures of the most recent creation in his class:

ILUGNY Member Jonathan G really excels at putting together breathtaking CC-Standard buildings. Be sure to check out the full set of pictures on Flickr, and to stop by and see it in person at the NYC LEGO Store. It’s worth the trip.
Apparently, those Snakes from the new Ninjago series live in a very nice place – or at least it was nice until all those ninjas got in there.
Brett, Bill and Chris did another amazing job. Check it out in person at the Palisades Center LEGO store!
ILUGNY member James H. created this fantastic space scene, which can be found in the Palisades Center Mall LEGO Store. If you like mecha, giant space monsters, or lime green plant life, you should really check it out. If you can’t make it in person, you might as well check out his Flickr stream here.
ILUGNY Members Brett, Chris & Bill built the SuperMoc shown here for the Garden State Plaza LEGO Store (Paramus, NJ)
Star Wars was set “A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away….”
Ice Planet 2002 (Yes, that was the theme name, which sounded impressive when it was released in 1993, I remember it well.) was set a mere decade ago, on what I presume was a very cold planet.
I’ll apologize in advance for the quality of some of the photos, I was a little distracted when I took them in the store.
